The Seattle based startup Wetpaint recently announced that it is now supporting the OpenID framework for managing user identity online. The company has more than 400,000 Wetpaint Wiki communities. The number was at 300K in April and 200K in February.
As for the actual process, OpenID users at Wetpaint need only click “Sign Up on any Wetpaint Wiki and type in their OpenID URL to begin tapping the power of collaborative thinking with Wetpaint.
We´ve tested setting up our own wiki for The OpenID Directory and it was really done in under 5 minutes. Please feel free to add any appropriate content there, it´s really a great app.
